Farmscape Posters

A series of promotional posters created for Farmscape Gardens, an organic microfarming company based in the Los Angeles area. The first illustration shows a typical  suburban neighborhood of identical tract homes transformed by the presence of raised bed vegetable gardens; the repurposed lawns bring vibrancy to an otherwise cookie-cutter environment. We were then asked to make posters of LA landmarks with vegetable gardens on site, emphasizing that Farmscape’s microfarming concept goes hand-in-hand with the city’s unique geography and culture. Other illustrations in the series feature Griffith Observatory, Hollywood Bowl, and Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
